Jared's First Catch! - Memorial Day Wknd 2013

Jared caught his first fish!  Unfortunately Mommy & Daddy were on a boat ride at the moment this happened, but Uncle Matt & Uncle Dan were their to witness & help Jared take his fish off the hook.  Jared actually caught 3 fish right in a row!  However, Jared wouldn't try even 1 bite!  We had a great time for Memorial Day weekend, although having Trevor at the lake was a little difficult as far as packing all his stuff and sleeping arrangements.  Hopefully in a few months we can enjoy a longer visit!

Swimming with PraBabtsi - 5/11/13

Jared has been taking swim lessons this summer so we've been trying to give him an opportunity to practice his skills with us.  We enjoyed a beautiful day at the pool with PraBabtsi in Mt Pleasant before she left for Connecticut on her summer trip.  We'll definitely be back!

Trevor - 6 months

Wow!  Trevor is already 6 months old!  We can hardly believe it.  He is such a sweet baby, and has grown so much.  We love getting to know his unique personality.  Right now Trevor enjoys rolling around on blankets playing, usually trying his hardest to get to Jared's toys.  Since Trevor began to roll he started sleeping a little better at night, on his side or tummy.  Also right after he turned 5 months he cut his first 2 teeth right on the bottom.  Trevor is still eating 6-7 times a day, with solid food twice a day.  Trevor also had his first ear infection this month, and was on two antibiotics over the course of 3 weeks to get rid of it!  We're glad thats over with, and praying he stays well.  Trevor is still refluxing so unfortunately his solid food hasn't alleviated that problem, but his medicine seems to be keeping him out of discomfort.

Mother's Day Tea - 5/10/13

Jared & Mommy got to enjoy a morning together for a Mother's Day Tea at his school.  His class had practiced some songs for all the mothers, but Jared didn't exactly participate.  However, he sings the songs at home when its just us :)  A big thanks to Aunt Beth who lent Mommy pearls to wear (this was a special request on the invitation) and for watching Trevor to make this a special date with just Jared!

Silly Brothers - 5/7/13

We love watching our boys play together.  Jared can't wait until Trevor can run around with him!

Gigi & Grumpy Visit - 4/28/13

The boys are always excited to see their Gigi & Grumpy.  They often stop by on their way to or from their lake property in Georgia.

Jumping to Sleep - 4/27/13

We borrowed a jumperoo from friends & are so glad we did.  Trevor loves it!  The first evening he was in it he jumped himself to sleep!  Even though this hasn't happened again since, he still enjoys jumping, playing with the toys, and looking around from his standing position.
