Harvest Party - 10/30/11

For Halloween our church has a Harvest Party for "trunk or treat", candy, games, and big blow up bounce games. Jared was a lion, and the cutest one we've every seen! He was actually a little too tall for his 2 year old costume so he didn't like wearing his "mane" on his hood. He still had a great time getting candy and bouncing around. On Halloween night we took Jared trick or treating on our street and then over to Uncle Pete and Aunt Beth's and down their street a little bit. Jared was a little shy with his roar but he was still adorable!

Farm - 10/29/11

We enjoyed a fun Saturday in October at a farm in Lexington (about 30 minutes away). Jared had a blast playing in the corn box, sand box, going down the 60-foot slide, playgrounds with slides and swings, riding tractors, and going through the corn maze. It was a bit chilly that day but what fun memories!

Park - 10/15/11

A few weeks ago we were able to see Lydia, Jon's cousin (who was the flower girl in our wedding) play soccer in Lexington. We took advantage of the playground for Jared to get some energy out too!

Birthday Zoo Trip - 10/3/11

Jared's 2nd birthday fell on a Monday, so unfortunately mommy and daddy had to work. We are so grateful for Aunt Beth who took Jared to the zoo for his birthday! They had wonderful weather for walking and strolling around. Jared loved the animals and the playground too! Then Aunt Beth took him to Chick Fil A for lunch and he had ice cream! We enjoyed dinner with Uncle Pete & Aunt Beth, then Jared was able to talk to his grandparents and other aunts and uncles via phone and skype. We have a houseful of new toys. Jared is such a blessing and one blessed little boy!
